Lead
Its important to select the lead according to fishing conditions and water depths. When fish are shallow it is important to let baits drop slowly to the bottom and weights should be lighter. When the wind is blowing and the depths are greater, heavier weights are required. When your fishing line is heavier, they tend to prevent lures from reaching the bottom on slow drifts, therefore your weights must be adjusted according to the diameter of your fishing line.
