Grubs
Grubs are tiny lures that can catch big fish, especially big smallmouth bass, but experienced anglers are finding they work just as well on largemouths. They are especially well suited to walleye. Rigging grubs should be done with the tail in the down position allowing the grub to create a disturbance along the bottom. Other tips include Carolina Rigging grubs and using heavier ball heads and letting grubs drop vertically to create either a mud or clicking sound on the bottom. Grubs can also be tipped off with a very small piece of worm. Brighter colors work well for walleye more natural colors seem to do better with bass.
